Okay, the acadec account I promised.

Our team was missing a C-team member. When I say missing I don't mean we don't have a safety net I mean we are missing a physical score. We've got 5/6 scores while everyone else is packing a full team.

Our team-
The coach. He's a cool guy but he doesn't quite have a sense of scale as to when things are good or bad or how much things actually affect the team, this is his first year and this is the first time he's had anything to do with Acadec.

We had our A-team Rebekah, Jessica and Jerry. It was already known that Jerry may not even be able to take all the exams because of math team. Our ace-in-the-hole was not at the golf field. This meant our A-team would have had a small safety net if any because though he'd try to make any available tests when he arrived he would have missed a lot.

Our B-team wasn't too promising either. The members on the team were new and because of parents/religion they missed lots of meetings. Being sophmores they don't know lots of math, and being new they aren't very good at studying for Acadec. (Something Jessica, of the A-team, has also had some difficulty with)

I was the C-team. Even if I managed the impossible 10000 I'd only count as two 5000 scoring c-teamers.

When getting ready to go the coach asked, "Who are we missing?"
"Where's Rabia," I asked in response.
Rebekah was standing right next to me at the opening of the bus and her mom next to our coach.
He responded, "She can't make it."
"What do you mean she can't make it? If she doesn't come we're gonna lose!"
Rebekah had a point. Her mom then offered if they could get her to go she would pick her up and drop her off. It being six in the morning he felt really bad about calling. He eventually called and left a message. We were all getting antsy though. By time we got there we still hadn't gotten a hold of anyone. Rebekah insistly tried to make sure he was putting an effort to get her here. Eventually, Sarah, the other B-teamer, called Rabia and the situation was explained. She wasn't allowed to go out but she ended up getting around it by leaving and coming back before her father did by permision of her sister(I think it was her sister at least.)

While we were waiting we found out that we couldn't register as a team unless all members were present and that they had to be there by 8:45 a.m. That by itself meant that Jerry couldn't participate in any other part of the competition. This also set a dealine on when Rabia could show up. We were nervously awaiting her arrival when they showed up just 12 minutes before the deadline.

From there we went to compete.

FF : Super Quiz Relay

Here we were sitting in the crowd. all 4 of us. We sat there with less than half of a full team, our coach ended up sitting in the stands instead of providing moral support, and none of us really studied Super Quiz.

I went up first being the C-7 member that I am. Having not studied I came back with probability.
After me two empty sessions were no one represented Northside. After that Sarah went up. She came out with probability, too. She felt bad about it. It's kind of embarassing up there even if your back is to the audience.
After another three sessions where we were had failed to be represented, Rebekah went up. She didn't study Super quiz to much and she has either always disliked or was bad at the relay portion. In anycase she still managed to beat us all, with 2 points. When Jessica went up she put us back to an overall probability score, she scored nothing, and we went out with 4 points. Our archrival, Whitney, took a great 21 more points. Although the morale had sunk low, we didn't have to actually compete against Whitney. Whitney was in a different cluster at this competition. Nevertheless we felt impending doom, doubt was gaining, running over our faith. Rebekah had commented," I don't know what I'll do with a all my free time." As if it was all already over, like she knew that she wouldn't have any studying or any meetings to go to. It wasn't just her though, she brought others down with her. I looked at Jessica, "What time did you wake up? You look tired." She responded, "No, I just feel upset." Despite the general low morale I held out hope. I had seen the scores from last year of those who moved on and I felt sure that there was still a definite chance that we could move on.

Then we went on to the Awards ceremony.

I'll finish this later, I've stuff to do. this is my way of saving it. -Sorry.
